Logos, Taglines & Brands...do you know what the difference is?

A logo is a small simple mark that people will identify with your business or company.

The tagline is used with the logo. This is the promise you make to your public, the benefit they get from using your services.

However, your brand is the big picture of your business. The logo will be part of that, because your logo was created to visually represent your business.  But your brand also includes your mission statement (the purpose or goal of the business)  and your style of interacting with the public. Should your busniess be represented by a kooky cast of characters like Flo in the Progressive commercials? Or is a more conservative tone appropriate, similar to Merrill Lynch's marketing.

Whether you have a mission statement, or are just getting started, Carrie Coren Design can work with you. We know what questions to ask in order to create a logo that works.
